Preserve is a typical Serbian specialty. The traditional Serbian welcome of the guest always starts with sweet and plum brandy. Preserve is a homemade product, prepared in the old-fashioned way, by cooking in an open pot on a wood stove. Contains whole fruit in syrup. Serve in small bowls with a glass of water.
